Description
The function of the oil air seperator is to separate the oil mist particles from the oil-gas mixture so that the Oil-Air-Sperating can be realized with 3 steps:
1. Oil droplet seperation: the quantity and diameter of glass filber, and oil air flow speed are the decisive factors which determining the seperation effectiveness. (Diameter of HV fiber is 3 micron)
2. Tiny oil droplets seperation: fine oil droplets polymerize into big droplets during the first seperation stage, passing through the glassfiber layer and flow into the bottom. oil droplets residual in the air continue to seperate at the second seperation stage.
3. Returning oil collection: according to the design principle of oil air seperator core, oil air mixture if from outside to inside. a return pipe located at the center of the oil seperator core slightly away from the bottom is used in the screw crompressor oil air seperator to extract oil from the bottom of the oil air seperator core.
